Irrigating seeds through prayer

As missionaries we have many needs but none are as important as prayer!

We deal each day with curcumstances beyond our control. Sometimes the needs are for us, other times for friends and family. We covet your prayers and ask you to share them with others. We will try to keep this as up to date as possible.

As you read this know that you don't need to spend an hour on your knees praying for each item. Just a simple "Lord will you meet this need today" or "Lord bless them today" or just a simple request specific to the need is all that is needed. Our God knows the needs already and longs for us to reach out to him. Here are our current requests:

  • For strength as we continue through the team season. We get tired just like normal people and our fuse can be short. We want our witness to be one of love just like Christ.
  • Tina has been handed a brand new ministry! At our childrens home, BMDMI has a dental clinic and it was staffed by a Honduran Dentist. The dentist quit 2 weeks ago and Tina has been asked to take over. We spent last week screening all the kids and the needs are overwhelming. The dentist was only doing cleanings so the cavities were left to grow. Please pray for Tina as she struggles with all that needs to be done. She is contacting dentists to see if she can get some help. Also thank God for the supplies that He will provide to make the clinic truly operational.
  • Please pray for a couple we know as they deal with God's call in their life. They are struggling with it and haven't shared it with family (hence the lack of a name). May God reveal his call beyond a shadow of a doubt.
  • Lift up our remote team July 11th-17th. We are traveling to Ahuas on the Patuca River to provide dental care for 40,000 in need. Pray that we will come face to face with God and through us others will come to know him. So that you may pray for them by name, the team members are Mark Evans, Tina and myself.
  • For our pastor, Donnie as he continues to deal with health issues.
  • Pray for Nelly and Johnnie as they continue with Nelly's rehab. We wait with anticipation for their return to the field. She continues to improve from her paralysis but has a ways to go.
