Sowing seeds in Rous Rous on the Rio Coco

The Rio Coco runs along the border of Honduras and Nicaragua. It has a population of around 80,000 people living in it's watershed. This area is extremely desolate and the poorest of all Honduras.

The hospital exists in Rous Rous and but hasn't functioned since the refugee crisis of the early 1980's.The people responsible for the facility are seeking teams to provide the much needed care. When asked about the number of patients a team would see, we are told that they will literaly come out of the bushes and will have walked for a day or two. These people live their life without the much needed care. We plan to take at least one team a year to this location.
